Originally from Shanghai, Angie moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2017 to pursue her studies in Creative Computation and Studio Art at Southern Methodist University.
In 2024, she graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania with a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Design.
As a design-engineer, Angie is dedicated to finding a balance between computation and design. Angie applies advanced computation—machine-learning models, algorithmic workflows, design systems, smart IoT(Inernet of Things) and data visualization to create human-centered product solutions that connect people, technology, and the environment. Whether shaping responsive public spaces or crafting digital interfaces, she focuses on how design can mediate the relationship between human needs and ecological stewardship, ensuring that every interaction improves both user experience and the sustainability of our shared surroundings.
